James (33) started his multi-instrumental journey in 6th grade band on trombone. He picked up bass guitar and by high school was performing with rock bands Achilles' Heel and Truthful Lies. He studied Music with an emphasis on composition at Alma College, gigging on bass with rock band Next Exit and Alma's Percussion Ensemble. He's since focused on learning guitar, keyboards and percussion.
